Hey hey! I’m Jenni, but you can call me Scriptkitty. This is my personal cybersecurity portfolio, where I stash my projects, labs, and case studies while I keep leveling up like a cat chasing the next laser pointer of knowledge.

I started out as a curious little cat messing with tools I barely understood, a total “script kiddie.” What was supposed to be a short phase turned into a full-blown career quest.

Here at ScriptKitty, you’ll join me on my puzzle solving projects and mischievous side quests. The goal here is to have fun learning, so one day I can have people learn from me!

i hate writing these. feels like a formality nobody actually cares about. but here’s the deal: i run scriptkitty, a space where i dump notes, war stories, and experiments from the trenches of cybersecurity. i’ve been clawing at this field since i was a teenager, and now it’s my work, my craft, and my playground.

this blog is about my learning journey to officially move away from the title of scriptkiddie. i’ll talk about the messy middle of security, data recovery, pentests, and the lessons worth sharing. if that’s your thing, stick around.
